1. Why is using a nasal wash important? Every day, our nasal passages encounter pollen, mold, dust, and other pollutants found in the environment. Our nasal passages also serve as a primary path through which fungi, germs and other infectious diseases enter the body.  Therefore, daily nasal hygiene is very important to helping ensure overall health and well-being. In fact, daily nasal wash and nasal spray is now considered a primary treatment for allergies and other sinus issues, and can be extremely valuable in helping to prevent airborne viruses such as H1N1 (swine flu).

2. Are nasal sprays addictive? Some nasal sprays - especially those containing decongestants and other manufactured drugs - can be addictive. However, Oasis Nasal Spray is all natural and completely non-addictive. It's even safe for infants and children.  

3. How effective are Oasis Nasal products?  Oasis Nasal Wash and Oasis Nasal Spray have been CLINICALLY TESTED AND PROVEN to be MORE EFFECTIVE than other isotonic and hypertonic saline solutions. 

4. What do the terms "isotonic" and "hypertonic" mean? Isotonic saline solutions have the same salt concentration as your body. Hypertonic saline solutions have a greater salt concentration, and offer greater benefits, including:

   • better cleansing of allergens, fungi, germs and other infectious agents;

7. Is there any discomfort associated with nasal wash? Not really, however, depending on individual tolerance and comfort levels, you may feel a slight burning or stinging sensation the first few times it is used. This initial reaction typically passes quickly with regular use. Oasis Nasal Wash has been formulated using all natural ingredients designed to provide gentle, comfortable cleansing.

8. My Oasis Nasal product appears to have turned a light tea color ... is it safe to use? Absolutely. Because Oasis Nasal products are made using Dead Sea salts, which have a unique mineral make-up, a change in color is expected and perfectly natural. This change, which can occur faster if the product is exposed to warmer temperatures, does NOT dilute effectiveness of the product. 

9. Can I control the pressure and amount of solution I use in each nostril? Yes. While the specially designed bottle used with Oasis Nasal Wash delivers a continuous stream of all natural solution for maximum cleansing, it also allows you to control both the pressure and amount of nasal wash you use in each nostril. Oasis Nasal Spray, on the other hand, delivers a light mist that helps nasal passages stay moist and clean.
